Current Thoughts: Ehhhhhhhh?
It's...okay. Some neat effects but it doesn't quite grab me. I'm sure Brie Larson is a good actress but she's not bringing anything to the table here. Even in the trailers she looks completely uninterested in her own movie. The poor woman looks asleep at the wheel with the same facial expression throughout the trailer and that's not how the MCU rolls with their characters.
I get that she's supposed to be military, but even Natasha, the most stoic of the Avengers, has more to her than we're seeing here.
Again, I'm sure the movie proper will give more context, but the trailer isn't doing much to grab me.
I think I might wait for the reviews and some more clips before I make the leap to see it.
Here's wishing Brie the best and that she really can bring it with Captain Marvel.
