Sooooo in the episode before the break, Felicity got shot because Oliver was being an idiot and didn't spring for a bulletproof limo. We also have his reaction on said shooting. 

So, the fridging aside.... I can perfectly understand Oliver and Co. going on the warpath over their homegirl getting shot up.

Let's look back at Season 3.

See the problem here? Okay, so, Malcolm 

• Mind Rapes Your Sister, 
• Murders Your Friend, 
• Murders Hundreds In An Earthquake and
•  Is The Whole Reason You Were On The Island In The First Place....
• and Oliver bows down to him in worship.

Heeeeeeeeeeeeey, speaking of Thea!

Again. Malcolm Mind Rapes And Abuses Thea And That's Fine With Oliver.

Ra's Stabs Thea And Oliver Guts HIm.

Again, that second part is fine on it's own...but it doesn't mesh! One minute he's defending a mass murdering terrorist...the next he's cutting down a different one. One minute he's swearing he can't kill anymore...the next he's slaughtering ninjas on his way to save a sociopathic terrorist who brought the entire thing on himself.

A villain murders his ex-love interest, wrecks his city, kills a close friend and mind rapes his sister and Oliver befriends him.
A different villain shoots his current love interest who spent the entire previous season cheating on him and Oliver goes on a rampage.

All I'm really saying is that if he's willing to kill Ra's and Darhk for what they did to him and his friends then by all logic he should be more than willing to kill Malcolm for his crimes as well, otherwise he just looks like a hypocrite. You can't pick and choose this shit man.
